Thanks, David, Meg, Susan --

Confirming the USCG estimated time of sinking of ~14:00 today (Sunday) we
reviewed still images from the automated, radar-directed pan-tilt-zoom
camera of the Marine Mammal (M2) system developed by ProtectedSeas.net
<https://protectedseas.net/> and deployed since 2019 at the Orcasound Lab
hydrophone site, hosted by Beam Reach <https://beamreach.blue/>, SPC. The
GPS-synched timestamps on these two photos allow a refined estimate to time
of sinking -- 13:56 Pacific on 8/13/22.

2022-08-13, 13:55:10 Pacific -- Aleutian Isle sinking 300m SW of Orcasound
Lab

(585 Smuggler’s Cove Road on west side of San Juan Island)

2022-08-13 13:56:54 Pacific -- Aleutian Isle submersion complete, leaving
behind purse-seine skiff. Fishing vessel on left is the Intruder,
approaching to assist survivors.
